How much does a new roof cost around here?
It depends on the size and pitch of the roof, how many layers come off, what the decking looks like once it is exposed, and the shingle you pick. A number over the phone would be a guess, so we do not give one. The inspection ends with a written number at your table, for replacement and for rejuvenation where it applies.
Is roof rejuvenation a scam?
It is not magic, and it is not for every roof. It cannot fix leaks, hail damage, or a roof that is worn out. On a sound roof that is drying out, it adds years for a fraction of a replacement. Since we do both, we have no reason to sell you the wrong one. We inspect first and tell you plainly which your roof needs.
How soon can you start?
After the inspection we go over your options and give you a written proposal at the appointment. Once you approve it, most projects start within two weeks, depending on material availability.
Will you meet my insurance adjuster?
Yes. We can be on site when your adjuster comes, to walk them through what we found and photographed. The claim itself stays yours: you file it, you talk to your insurer, and you pay your deductible. We do not sign on your behalf and we do not ask you to sign your claim over to us.
Do you waive deductibles?
No. Offering to cover a deductible is illegal in Wisconsin and a red flag anywhere. What we do instead is document the damage well and price the work honestly.
Do I need to pull the permit?
No. We handle permitting and code compliance and deal with the local building department for you.
How long does a replacement take?
Most homes take a day. Some take two. You will know before we start.
What warranty do I get?
Every replacement comes with a ten-year workmanship warranty from Evolve Roofing plus the manufacturer's warranty on the materials. Every rejuvenation comes with a five-year warranty. Extended coverage options are available if you want more.
Are you insured?
Yes. Ask us for a current certificate of insurance and we will send it before any work starts. Any roofer should be able to do the same.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, through our lending partner, subject to credit approval. Soft-credit pre-approval and no prepayment penalty. Your inspector walks you through it at the same table as the numbers.
